A Walk in the Rain

Pleasant evening, birds chirping, cold breeze blowing all around the park, with the setting sun throwing its rays upon the water droplets on the soil....
That enchanting smell of the earth and the velocity of her walk, were quite complementing....

There comes a girl in a jog suit and packet of biscuits in her track pant for her best pals....100 steps away she happens to take a halt, in search of the fur ball who comes to her daily to eat.
She had been watching that uncle walking down the park daily with a head turner kind of personality and attitude in his looks. Talking about her favorite topics "the canines", made a perfect conversation with him....

Few minutes later, two ladies wrapped in traditional saree, trying to take selfies but failing, stops this girl on the way and asks "beta can you click one picture?" She could not have been more happy clicking them, with photography being her hobby....
Few more meters she walks and it starts drizzling, howling noise of the wind passing thru the spaces between the trees, scares her but she doesn't want to back off!

Walking had been her addiction since a while which was hard for her to quit. She continues to walk and for the first time she was cherishing the joy of getting drenched in rain, on an evening jog. The happiness was doubled when she sees a beautiful lady, walking the toddler and a pup on either side, the most adorable scene of the evening. It was like a magic, everyone crossing her way, was exchanging smiles with her and the curve of her lips wasn't willing to sleep. She keeps moving ahead and receives a thumbs up from a lovely gran, sitting on a bench in the garden, lifts her happiness and spirits even more.

There she goes on and on in search of her daily walking partner who blocks her way to get pampered and then accompanies her and stops at a certain point, again waiting for her to come back after a round! That deep the bond was with that "wagging tail"....

Kids were running in the park with their tiny lil steps coming in between her way and she grabs them up and plays too, her inner self could not be more happy this day, encountering all these sweet moments that she had captured in her heart!

A phone call from dearest mommie on her way back to home, completes her evening jog....

First time, a walk in the rain, felt so refreshing with a perfect start and more perfect end! Have you ever been so touched by such small instances, worth living for, in just a day?!

Happiness lies in your heart, you just need to realize it and cherish it, rather than searching it in materialistic things!
